US Soccer's True Golden Generation?

Nearly 2 years removed from the darkest day in US Soccer history, we suddenly find ourselves with the greatest group of young talent we've ever seen.  With Dest's transfer to Barcelona and McKennie's shocking move to Juventus, we finally have players playing on top 10 teams in the world - bonafide Champions League contenders.

Based on how teams finished in their domestic leagues last season, we now have players on the best team in Italy, the best team in Germany, the 2nd best in Germany, the 2nd best in Spain, and the 2nd best in England.  We have players who are sharing the field with Ronaldo and Messi!  And this is not even including Pulisic or Tyler Adams!

Quick rundown:
Sergino Dest - Barcelona (2nd in La Liga)
Konrad de la Fuente - Barcelona (2nd in La Liga)
Weston McKennie - Juventus (1st in Serie A)
Chris Richards - Bayern Munich (1st in Bundesliga)
Gio Reyna - Borussia Dortmund (2nd in Bundesliga)
Tyler Adams - RB Leipzig (3rd in Bundesliga)
Zach Steffen - Manchester City (2nd in Premier League)
Christian Pulisic - Chelsea (4th in Premier League)

Other Notables in Europe:
John Brooks - Wolfsburg
Antonee Robinson - Fulham
Tim Ream - Fulham
Tim Weah - Lille
Josh Sargeant - Werder Bremen
Ethan Horvath - Club Brugge
DeAndre Yedlin - Newcastle
Reggie Cannon - Boavista

The final step is to finally develop our own legit world-class star, who leads a team (perhaps Real Madrid, in my opinion, the fiercest cauldron of pressure a footballer can endure - ask Gareth Bale) to a Champions League title, contends for a Ballon d'Or, and makes us a World Cup contender.  We want our own Ronaldo.  I suppose Pulisic has the chance to be that, but his penchant for injury is concerning.  This is a matter of national security - can we assign our country's top physical therapist to him fulltime?
